Company announces donation at professional paint contractor event at Texas Stadium

DALLAS, February 21, 2003-ICI Paints, an international leader in the manufacture and distribution of world-class paint brands, today announced that it plans to donate more than 2,000 gallons of paint and primer to supply all house projects scheduled by the Fort Worth area Habitat for Humanity for 2003.

A representative from the Fort Worth Habitat for Humanity chapter will accept the donation Friday at noon during a brief ceremony at Texas Stadium, where ICI Paints is hosting a professional paint contractor trade show this week. The trade show gives Dallas/Fort Worth-area professional paint contractors a chance to see product demonstrations and take advantage of special pricing from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"Our commitment to the Dallas/Fort Worth area extends beyond our role as a paint supplier and retailer. ICI Paints looks for ways to support the communities it serves through paint donations, particularly through its support of Habitat for Humanity," said Tim Guthrie, district operations manager for ICI Paints. "We estimate that 1,500 customers will be attending our ProShow event, all of whom will be able to take advantage of great deals, casino games, great food and a chance to win prizes."
